Printer Row Lit Fest



When:June 12 : 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
June 13 : 10 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Dearborn Street between Harrison and Polk


The annual celebration of the written word, billed as the largest free literary event in the Midwest, features new, used, antiquarian and specialty books for sale, author readings and signings, panel discussions, live music, storytelling for kids and more.

Participating authors include Susan Brackney, Wilfredo Cruz, Scott Christianson, Luis Alberto Urrea, Elizabeth Berg, Jennifer Egan, Sebastian Junger, Justin Cronin, Audrey Niffenegger, Colson Whitehead, Charles Pierce and more.

Also features cooking demonstrations by local chefs including Rick Tramonto (Tru), Joshua Linton (Aja) and Stephen Wambach (Epic).

Events also take place at the Harold Washington Library Center.
