Say Aloha! "The Cafe" open mike is now the Café Gallery, now relocated to Gallery Cabaret! See us at 2020 N.Oakley Ave. on the 1st, 3rd & 5th Wednesdays from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. for poetry and performance art. Starting January 18th! Read, & sign up for a feature with Janet Kuypers and side-kick Bob Rashkow (though Bob might not be able to attend the inaugural open mike in 2012).For info about the open mike and the 2012 schedule (or getting the chance to sign up for your OWN feature) you can always check out http://www.chaoticarts.org/thecafe/ for the regular podcast, feature videos or future schedules. During the open mike, Gallery Cabaret, with their cool in-house video system, had a live video feed of the open mike and feature on a TV at the front, so people at the bar can see the performance as well... But we video recorded the entire live performance, so people around the country (and around the world) could see the podcasts or the youtube video of the performance!
the Café Gallery had a GREAT poetry open mike night, with a TON of great poets coming together to read at this new location in 2012!
